We have a three-fold ministry in Faisalabad.
We partner with a family ministry, Christ Nation. This family has two brothers, Anosh and Saroush, two sisters, Maki and Sarah, Sarah’s husband and a mother. They are laborers for the Lord and are doing great things for the Kingdom!
1. Currently we are supporting 9 needy families in significant hardship in Faislabad and Khanuwana.
Christians in Pakistan will not be able to get food or anythings from Muslims because they will not help them due to hatred. If a family is in need, their reliance is on God. Our duty as fellow believers is to help the poor. Here is some information on the 3 families we’re supporting:
2. We also support CHRIST NATION ACADEMY, a Christian school in Faisalabad.
We prayed about starting a school in May 2024 and by June God had provided the school. We started in June 2024 with 8 students and one teacher, but now we have 25 students in two teachers. The school has grown 300% in less than a year! Our goal is to provide education for 50 students in the next year.
We have a Christian school for children who would not receive an education unless it was for Christ Nation. Christian children can’t get an education at muslim schools because of potential persecution. They are accused of blasphemy and face violence for believing in Yehovah, the God of the Bible! Christian children many times don’t get an education because of this. There was a recent incident in Pakistan where children were poisoned in Christian neighborhood. Two children died and five others were in critical condition at the hospital. We have no idea what Christians go through in this country.
Christ Nations Academy also provides support with a reasonable salary to teach the children. Women who have an education but are unable to work because they’re Christian are NOW able to work for the ministry teaching the students and doing God’s work!!!!. This salary is helping their families and as we grow, more families will be helped. We can really thank God for this!!!!
3. Shabbat School is now being held on the Sabbath for the children.
Brother Anosh started having Sabbath school when he learned the Sabbath. They have “church” for the children every Sabbath morning. They sing worship songs in Urdu and English, and are taught the commandments, the Feasts of the Lord, and stories in the Bible. This year they celebrated Passover for the first time.
They have also had snacks provided by “mom”, the mother of the 3 siblings who operate Christ Nation. She does so much for the school and the children!
